Whitewater River Rafting The Methow River in Washington

A BIG-HEARTED RUN ON WASHINGTON'S
BIG-WATER RIVER. The Methow River is first choice for many
river-runners since it offers few exposed rocks, huge waves, big
holes and powerful hydraulics. The legendary "wild mile" of Black
Canyon is unforgettable! This exciting run is on the sunny side of
the Cascades near Pateros, offering scenery that looks like a
Hollywood western. Experienced guides control the action of this
wet and wild ride.
The minimum age for this
whitewater rafting trip is 12 years.
Must be in good physical condition!
Directions:
From Wenatchee, take Hwy
97 north to Pateros, WA.
At the Junction of Highway 97
& Highway 153 near Pateros,
go about ¾-1 mile west on Hwy 153 to
parking area (across from power
sub-station). Look for
a Wildwater River Tours vehicle or sign.
Driving
time from Seattle, WA. approx. 4½ hours.
