The Toutle River is a ride through rumbling rapids in the shadow of Mt. St. Helens.  Due to the volcanic silt from the colossal volcanic eruption in 1980, the Toutle River changes constantly.  You will hit big waves and bottomless holes while plunging through Staircase, Tea Kettle and Hollywood Gorge rapids.  Shifting silt makes rafting the Toutle River unpredictable with unending excitement. The minimum age for this whitewater rafting trip is 18 years.

Must be in good physical condition!

Directions:
Take I-5 to Castle Rock.
Take exit 49, Highway 504 East for 2 miles.
Turn Left onto Tower Rd. at Chuck's Grocery and the BP Gas Station.
Go 3 miles to the Toutle River Bridge.
Look for Wildwater Tours vehicle.
