Whitewater River Rafting The White Salmon River in
Washington State, Class IV

For some of the most adventurous whitewater rafting in Washington, White Salmon River
Rafting is sure to fit the bill. On the dry, eastern side of the Cascades,
torrents of glacier run-off and numerous underground springs feed the White Salmon River, creating a whitewater environment of pure excitement. The springs also produce lush vegetation on the banks, encompassing a serene natural surrounding
in contrast to the thrilling whitewater rapids. When the runoff is compressed into the steep cliffs of the upper canyon, the exhilaration is almost non-stop. This is whitewater rafting that you cannot afford to miss. With
Wildwater, you’ll be paddling air and gasping for breath during
the infamous “Corkscrew Falls” rapid. As an extra bonus, if the water levels are right,
"Husum Falls" is an 8’-10’ vertical drop that leaves you breathless
from beginning to end! This is an extreme, but optional, Class
V feature. For your next visit to Oregon State, try White Salmon River
Rafting for outrageous whitewater rafting in Washington, only a few hours away.
The recommended minimum age for this
whitewater rafting trip is 10 years. Participants must be at
least 16 years of age to run Husum Falls.
All participants must be in good physical condition for Spring high water trips.
