Toutle River (Class IV)

The Toutle River is a ride through rumbling rapids in the shadow of Mt. St. Helens (near Castle Rock). Due to the volcanic silt from the colossal volcanic eruption in 1980, the Toutle River changes constantly. You will hit big waves and bottomless holes while plunging through Staircase, Tea Kettle and Hollywood Gorge rapids. Shifting silt makes rafting the Toutle River unpredictable with unending excitement. Come see us for thrilling whitewater river rafting on the Toutle River.
