Bald Eagles flock to the Skagit River, the only large river system in Washington that supports healthy populations of all 5 native salmon species, to feed during the harsh Canadian winter months.
Stand Up Paddling
Stand Up Paddling is an absolutely amazing way to see the river from a new perspective. If you’ve enjoyed rafting or kayaking in the past, you’ll get a huge kick out of “walking” down the river.
SUP combines the paddling techniques of canoeing with standing on an oversized surfboard. It is incredibly easy to learn and a perfect way for people of all fitness levels to enjoy the river and the surrounding scenery.
