A GREAT SUMMER ACTIVITY IN THE WENATCHEE VALLEY
This stand-up paddling trip is perfect for those that are looking for a little excitement and adventure. The Lower Wenatchee downriver SUP trip will have you paddling through class I-II rapids while enjoying the views from your board. Don't let the rapids scare you off, your professional river guides will teach you all the tips and tricks to have a fun time on the water. You can expect to be on the river for 2.5 - 3 hours of paddling from the lovely town of Cashmere, WA to the confluence of the Wenatchee River and Columbia River in the City of Wenatchee. This trip is a great Summer activity for friends or families visiting or living in the Wenatchee Valley. All skill levels are welcome and the age requirement is 10 years and up.
All guides have a minimum of CPR/First Aid Certifications and have completed a Swiftwater Rescue course. Don't worry, you will be getting plenty of help and attention with no more than a five-to-one guest to guide ratio.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Although SUP is fun and easy to learn, you're not out of the water just yet… literally! Be prepared to get wet on both the Icicle Creek and the Wenatchee River trips. The paddleboards are stable, but this sport requires balance, and that takes some time to get used to. Our guides hold a thorough pre-trip orientation addressing how to stand, how to paddle, what to do if you fall off, potential risks, and other important information.
